9/11 Bill.Good for Pakistan.

By kamran Rizvi.

Religious extremism and terrorism is not only the problem of Pakistan, but this issue is the naked sword for the world's peace. This reality should not be denied that somehow religious extremism and terrorism must have connections or links with Pakistan,98%people living in Pakistan wants democracy i.e they love democracy and they are liberal and secular. In their opinion the shameful incident of 9/11 and after it each and every terror activity took place around the world in the name of "Islam" as a coward act. They strongly condemn these terror incidents. This is the misfortune of people of Pakistan that people who rule them as well as Pakistan always give importance to their own benefits and their rule instead of people's emotions as well as their thinking,by this democracy did not revive ever in Pakistan.

In Pakistan Army is ruling uptil now in which its partners are religious powers accompanying by the investors, who are now totally in control of army and religious power. Few of the big giants of these investors invests on Pakistan's electronic as well as on print media hand over media to the hands of army and religious powers. In this situation world will see only that picture of Pakistan which our media presents in front of them.

Our ruling leaders enjoying luxirious life due to facilities and contribution which world's peace powers specially America providing to Pakistan in the favour of war against terrorism. Sometimes to harm world by showing religious extremists through Pakistani media and sometimes they highlight one incident and sleep calmly. But after the particular 9/11 bill which was passed on thursday's night i.e 26.07.07 our leaders are totally perplexed. The approval of this legislation either good for the world or not but it is good omen for the liberal and secular Pakistani's.And this is the strong desire of Pakistani's that countries including Britain who are supporting Pakistan by giving aid to it in the favour of war against terrorism should also pass this kind of bill so our ruling leaders should start making serious efforts against religious extremists.

Talks with Benazir Bhutto for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan is definitely a good sign, but to give up other regional parties including Nawaz Sharif for religious parties is not an act of wisdom. It is necessary of the ruling leaders to include people who loves democracy like Asfand Yar Wali,Imran Khan,Aamir Khan and Mehmood Khan Achakzai in these talks.
